Calculate exact material volumes, weights, and dry mix ratios.
1. Select your units: Choose between Imperial (Feet/Inches) or Metric (Meters/Centimeters) at the top left.
2. Choose the structure shape: Select either a Slab (for driveways, patios, square footings) or a Column (for sonotubes, round pads).
3. Enter dimensions: Input your measurements. The 3D visualizer will update immediately to verify your inputs.
4. Select Mix Ratio: Choose a standard grade (like M20 for typical foundations) or enter a custom ratio.
5. Download Report: Click the orange button to generate a professional, branded PDF detailing all required materials, volumes, and weights for purchasing.
Wet Volume Calculation:
Slab = Length × Width × Depth
Column = π × (Diameter / 2)² × Height
Dry Volume Conversion:
Concrete shrinks when mixed with water. We apply the industry-standard Dry Volume factor of 1.54.
Total Dry Volume = (Wet Volume × 1.54) + Waste Margin %
Ratio Distribution:
If ratio is 1:2:4 (Cement:Sand:Gravel), Total Parts = 7.
Cement Volume = Total Dry Volume × (1 / 7)
Sand Volume = Total Dry Volume × (2 / 7)
Gravel Volume = Total Dry Volume × (4 / 7)
Material Densities Assumed:
Cement: ~1440 kg/m³ (90 lbs/ft³)
Sand: ~1600 kg/m³ (100 lbs/ft³)
Gravel: ~1500 kg/m³ (95 lbs/ft³)
