Calculate the exact volume, weight, and number of bags needed for circular slabs, columns, and sonotubes.
The volume of a circular cylinder or slab is calculated using the formula for the volume of a cylinder:
Volume = π × r² × h
Where r is the radius (half of the diameter) and h is the depth/height.
The total weight is estimated by multiplying the volume by the standard density of concrete (150 lbs/cu ft or 2,400 kg/m³). Bag counts are determined by dividing the total volume by the yield of a standard bag.
