• Cleanliness: Surface must be completely free of dirt, grease, oil, and previous sealers.
• Curing: New concrete must cure for at least 28 days before applying any stain.
• Test Patch: Always apply a small test patch in an inconspicuous area to verify color reaction.
• Acid Stain Neutralization: If using acid-based stain, you must neutralize the surface with a baking soda/water solution after the chemical reaction completes.
• Sealing: Apply sealer within 24 hours of staining to protect the color and enhance durability.
